Daniel Carruth, Joe Crumpton, Kayla Huddleston, Nathan Smith, and Richard Sween demonstrated the Finch and NAO robots at the Bagley College of Engineering tailgate tent before the Arkansas football game.
Ankit Arya was awarded First Prize for his Oral Presentation titled “Computer Vision for Detection of SWAT in Challenging Environments Using Long Wave Infrared Imagers” at the LSU URC 2012 Regional Undergraduate Research Conference on Friday, October 26.
Ankit Arya is an undergraduate in Computer Science and Engineering and will be graduating in May. Cindy Bethel, Assistant Professor from Computer Science and Engineering, and Derek Anderson, Assistant Professor from Electrical and Computer Engineering, have co-mentored Ankit since May 2012 on this project.
